Ergonomics aims to make a workspace work for an individual rather than making the individual adjust to an uncomfortable workspace, and thus decreasing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. About Me
Hello, my name is Jennifer Dolton. As an experienced licensed physical therapist assistant, I couldn't help but notice how many people being treated by physical therapy have pain. That number is as high as 60 percent! The causes of pain can be as varied as the individuals themselves. Sometimes these symptoms present as a result of repetitive strain injury, a fracture, arthritis, or years of bad posture. These observations led to an interest in preventing these injuries from ever occurring in the first place! I realized that with the proper adjustments made to work environments and lifestyle, many of these injuries can be prevented, reduced or eliminated. After amassing extensive study in ergonomics, I am ready to help you! My background as an expert in body systems and movement can help you to feel better and to live your life with optimum vitality.
